Free Medical Outreach – Achina
The Nonso Ezeagu Foundation successfully organised a two-day free medical outreach in Achina, providing accessible and quality healthcare to the elderly population within the community.
We attended to over 600 elderly beneficiaries, treating common conditions such as malaria, hypertension, and various eye-related issues. Over 500 reading glasses were distributed to support improved vision among beneficiaries.

Two-day medical outreach — Achina
Medical Intervention – Cataract Surgery
In furtherance of our humanitarian mission, NEF successfully facilitated and sponsored a life-changing cataract surgery for Miss Okpalaeke Cynthia, an orphan from Umueziyi Village, Achina, Aguata LGA, who had lost vision in her left eye.
Her condition was first identified by our medical team in May 2024 during the two-day free medical outreach in Achina. Following proper assessment and in consideration of her academic schedule, we ensured she completed her examinations before proceeding with the surgery.
The procedure was carried out on July 24, 2024 at Prime Specialist Hospital, Igboukwu, and was successful. She is currently in stable condition and recovering well.

Achina Charity Football Tournament — 2024 & 2025
The Nonso Ezeagu Foundation (NEF) successfully organised two editions of the Achina Charity Football Tournament in 2024 and 2025, as part of its youth engagement and community development initiatives.
2024 Edition
Inaugural Tournament
The tournament was structured as a month-long league competition at Community Secondary School, Achina, providing sustained engagement for participating teams and creating an avenue for consistent interaction, teamwork, and talent development among the youth.

Following the success of the 2024 and 2025 editions, the founder, Sir Nonso Ezeagu, has announced that the Achina Charity Football Tournament will become an annual event, with plans to expand its reach and impact.

School Supplies Outreach
NEF carried out a back-to-school outreach at Primary School Eke Achina, Aguata LGA, recognising the financial pressure many families face during back-to-school season.
Plans are underway to extend this initiative to several other schools.
Educational Support – Uga
Girls’ Secondary School Talent Hunt
NEF provided support to Girls’ Secondary School, Uga during their talent hunt event, donating 150 exercise books alongside financial support to enhance the programme and encourage participation in creative and educational activities.
This initiative forms part of our broader effort to invest in grassroots education within Aguata 1 Constituency, strengthening the capacity and potential of young people through continuous support.

Back-to-School Haircut Outreach
Achina — Annual Initiative
NEF provided free haircuts to 128 children in Achina, ensuring they could start the new school year with confidence and dignity.
Recognising the large turnout, our team went the extra mile by providing biscuits and juice to keep the children comfortable and happy while waiting their turn.
NEF has made this outreach an annual event, ensuring children in Achina and surrounding communities continue to benefit.
Community Welfare Initiatives
Beyond healthcare and education, NEF actively supports vulnerable families, orphanages, and communities through food outreach and direct humanitarian visits.
Orphanage Visit – Abuja
City of Refuge Orphanage Home, Durumi
In celebration of our founder’s birthday, NEF carried out a special humanitarian visit to the City of Refuge Orphanage Home, Durumi, Abuja.
Our team donated essential items and spent quality time interacting with the children — sharing stories, listening to their aspirations, and offering encouragement. This engagement created a sense of love, care, and belonging among the children.
The foundation reaffirmed its commitment to continuously support and improve the well-being of vulnerable children.
Food Outreach – Waru, Abuja
Yimitu Village
NEF conducted a food outreach in Yimitu Village, Waru, Abuja, distributing 100 food bags including drinks to women and children in the community.
The outreach began at the village head’s palace and moved to a nearby field for distribution. The joy and gratitude expressed by recipients reinforced our commitment to service.
